Hongkong Disneyland

Yesterday I was driving home together with my wife. She told me that she was craving for a banana-cue. It's a banana deep fried in brown sugar and its served on a bamboo stick.

I thought of going to my regular car wash where I remember they use to sell this food. We went inside BF Homes and head into the car wash. I had my car cleaned while my wife enjoys the banana cue. We were taking our time reading the paper and eating the banana cue while waiting for the car to get cleaned.

My eyes passed along the page where a lot of travel companies advertised their budget rates on different tourist and vacation spots. Altogether, the costs shows in USD. I noticed the package for the Hongkong DisneyLand. If I remember it right it costs around $243/person. I asked my wife, because she went to Hongkong before, if these packages will totally take care of everything. Like from the plane to hotels to going back home. I wanted everything to be taken care of the travel company and ensure that everything will be covered. Of course, you are paying much so asking for just service won't hurt that bad. My wife told me that most of the travel companies handles this kinds of services. I told her since the cost is justified, why would not we go to Hongkong together with Jada.

She told me that was a great idea. By then Jada would somehow appreciate DisneyLand. Besides it will be my first time to travel by air. We set a target month and it would be on March or April. These are the not so peak months and I believe that we will enjoy our stay there to the fullest.

I am so excited about this plan of ours. I believe that we will be able to go there and have a vacation. Till then....

Its Been A Week Now

Finally we have at least settled ourselves in our humble abode. We have managed ourselves sleeping there at night comfortably. Not to mention the new A/C that we bought and asked someone to install it for us. I am not that expert when it comes to electricals though.

It's fun and exciting that you buy things just to make your house pleasant to your eyes and satisfied at the result. I remember my mom. She used to move things in our house just to have a different look. She told me that she does that so that house insects will not be able to build a habitat. Logical reason: house insects needs to be more familiar with the surrounding before they can "settle" themselves there.

Anyway, I love what I am doing right now. I love the feeling of being in command and doing things according to what I know is right for us. My wife also does a bit of cooking. For me, I am ready to create a recipe of my own. I really love being in my house.

Finally a place of our own

We moved July 12,2007 to our new home. At last, I tasted freedom and independency. We moved each and every item that we need in our new home. Of course, my wifey is the one helping me out. Again, its just the two of us who managed the transfer. No one else was able to help us! I am so proud of her because she even took a day off just to have our things transferred. Finally, ha! our new place, our own kingdom.

We are now moving in a new home. This is the time were we will know our strengts and weaknesses. Ha!

Anyway, I shopped for home stuff. Boy! it's really tiring! You really need to know what are the things you need otherwise you will discover that you bought things you dont really need.

First, I bought cleaning stuff. I need to clean up first the house that we will be living in the next x months/years. It's fun and tiring as well. But come to think of it I am designing my own castle now. I am the king and my wife is the queen. I really can't wait to live in our own abode.
